COSTS & SIGNUP
Sign up must be done by midnight Thursday September 22, 2022 so we can submit the final list to Bert Adams and meet our pack's deadline.
Registrations will close at 11:59 PM on 9/22/2022. Any one that is not registered by this date may not be able to sign up.

REQUIRED FORMS
A completed medical form is needed for every member of the family who will be attending including adults and siblings. If you have already turned one in for every member of your family, for the 2022-2023 year, then you are ok. Else Please print as many copies as you need for your family, fill them up and turn in the forms in to your Den Leaders at the earliest, before the campout.

ACTIVITIES
Fall Family Camp Spooky-Ree 2022 is an event full of STEM activities, arts & crafts, scout skills, physical challenges, games, shooting sports, and more! Some of the activities are slacklining, the science machine, haunted hayride or trail, BB's/rubber band guns, archery, slingshots, etc.
MEALS
Pack will not provide any meals on this campout. You are responsible for organizing your own meal on Friday night. There are several restaurants downtown Covington. ​

Bert Adams has a dining hall and you can opt to purchase meals for Saturday (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and for Sunday (breakfast). Prices are listed above.
WHAT TO PACK
NOTE: Flushing toilets and private showers are featured throughout the camp.

The temperatures during the day should be good in the high 70s, but the nights could drop as low as the mid 50s. Please come prepared with additional dry clothes and bedding in case the weather is cooler than you planned. Wearing closed-toed shoes will help not only with the cool weather, but keep your feet safe from the environment, too.

Tent
Ground Cover/Tarp
Folding/Camp Chairs for camp out (standing around the fire is not nearly as fun as sitting by the fire)
Water bottle
Cups for drinking
Back Pack/Day Pack or bag for personal items
Flashlight with extra batteries (head lamp is best)
Lantern (if desired)
Sleeping bag for each family member
Foam pad or air mattress with pump (if desired)
Pocket Knife & Whittling Chip (if earned)
Marshmallow Toasting Sticks
Clothes:
At least one extra pair of closed toe shoes
Several pairs of socks
At least one change of clothes, layers in case it gets chilly at night
Crocs or flip flops (only for use as bathroom shoes)
Sweatshirt
Rainproof jacket or poncho
Long pants (depending upon weather)
Sunglasses (optional)
Halloween Costumes

Hand wipes or hand sanitizer
Soap/toothbrush/toothpaste/small towel
Bug Spray
Ear plugs aren’t a bad idea if you’re a light sleeper. Every year we seem to hear snoring bears right near our site.
